With four limestone quarries in Lincolnshire and Gloucestershire we have the capacity to service all your aggregate and block stone requirements, however, large they may be.
Johnston Quarry Group is a specialist quarried materials supplier producing construction aggregates and premium quality building stone, from our quarries throughout Lincolnshire and Gloucestershire. We are also significant producers of agricultural lime which is used for soil improvement.
We own and operate Creeton Quarry and Ropsley Quarry both in Lincolnshire, as well as Oathill Quarry and Guiting Quarry in Gloucestershire.
Our aggregate products are typically used in infrastructure projects, with our unique Cotswold, Ironstone and Bath Stone being specified in high end housing applications. As a Group we have access to 86 million tonnes of freehold and leasehold reserves.
In addition to the quarries, the Group owns Building Stone Ltd and Bath Stone Company.
Building Stone is a masonry and stone processing operation with two stone processing sites located in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. We produce various grades of stone including coursed building stone, ashlar, and rough dressed walling stone. In addition we aim to provide the finest bespoke masonry, no matter how small or large the project using our in-house stone processing teams. We offer a full, comprehensive supply, manufacture and delivery of stone masonry products from window surrounds to copings, cills, gate piers, to stone balustrades and stone capitals to name just a few.
Bath Stone Company are the premier suppliers for classic Stoke Ground Bath stone. The beauty and consistency of the Bath Stone from our mine is exceptional, which is why it is specified for projects that need outstanding quality and reliability. It is the choice for high profile new build and restoration projects across the UK. It is also the choice of individuals painstakingly restoring period homes.
